Esther Cohen, bohemian_mark's mother, is your standard American mom who happens to have an Oscar-winner for a son (she'd still much rather he'd get a proper job. Something nice and secure with a pension).

Esther is a small woman in her mid-to-late fifties, of a slim-to-medium build, with short-ish dark hair. She wears glasses for reading, and usually looks smart. Her hobbies include gossiping, nagging, spoiling her grandkids, and terrorising her son, Mark. I'm enlisting the wonderful Julie Walters to play her.

Esther Cohen is from (albeit briefly) the movie and musical Rent, and is the property of the estate of Jonathan Larson. He/she appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
